Pop Up Protocol for Comparing Means Topic, Table 2.

Open “anes04s.sav” file.
In the toolbar, click on "Data" and on "Weight Cases..."; click on ""Weight cases by"; in left window, select "weight" and click on the right arrow; click on "OK."
Click on “Analyze,” “Compare Means,” and “Independent-Samples T Test....”
In left window, select “thermrn"; click on first right arrow.
In left window, select "partyid3"; click on second right arrow; click on "Define Groups...."
In the window next to "Group 1:" enter "1"; in the window next to "Group 2:" enter "3."
Click on "Continue" and on "OK."
