Open “anes08s.sav” file.
In the toolbar, click on "Data" and on "Weight Cases..."; click on ""Weight cases by"; in the left window, select "weight" and click on the right arrow; click on "OK."
Click on “Analyze,” “Compare Means,” and “Paired-Samples T Test....”
In left window, select “thermdem" and "thermgop"; click on the right arrow; click on "OK."
