Using the Boxplot procedure: 

• Open “countries.sav” file.
• Click on “Graphs,” "Legacy," and “Boxplot...”
• Click on "Simple" and on "Summaries for groups of cases."
• In left window, select “gdpcapita” and drag and drop it into the first window on the right.
• In left window, select “region” and drag and drop it into the second window on the right.
• In left window, select “name” and drag and drop it into the third window on the right.
• Click on "OK."
