Useful resources for making presentations
Here are some useful links for information about presentation graphics:
- Technical Communication by Rebecca Burnett, for under $60, is a rich sourcebook for all aspects of scientific communication, including presentations. It focuses more on the content and methods than the technical details. You can order the paperback from Amazon for $53.95, but it can take 4-6 weeks to ship.
- Some handouts from my Cal Poly class, "Graphic Publication for Biologists"
If anyone has instructions for PowerPoint or the slidemaker or any other pertinent equipment on disk, I'll be glad to convert it into a web page and link it here.
