Assignment 5: Finding books

Using the library reference tools you have learned about from the links above, go to a library and find at least four books that relate to the topic you chose in Assignment 1. For each book, provide the following:

1. The information for a bibliographic citation (author, year of publication, title, source) in the same numbered format as Assignment 2 (as in Assignment 2, citations in the “standard biological” style won’t be graded).
2. How you found it (e.g., “Cal Poly WebPAC, using the subject heading ‘Viruses’.”). Include all pertinent information: the index, search tool, or published bibliography where you found it, including all the information necessary for me to find the reference using the same tools.
3. A brief description (a sentence or paragraph) of the contents of the book.

Keep copies of Assignments 5, 6, and 7—the information will be used again in Assignment 8.
