All of these groups have been traditionally studied in botany courses (some are traditionally studied by zoologists as well). They are arranged and grouped more or less phylogenetically, and at each indented level, more specific features are considered.
Individual phyla (but not groups of phyla, such as “Green plants”) have photographs, and each photograph is a link to a page with links to photos of that phylum in the lab manual and from other sources.
The name of each phylum is a link that will return you to whatever page you came from (just like your browser’s “back” button). The speaker icons by each phylum name, and the links from the genus names, are audio pronunciation files (see note on pronunciation).
