Collegiate Learning Assessment
The Collegiate Learning Assessment (CLA) is a national effort that provides colleges and universities with information about their students’ performance on tasks that require them to think critically, reason analytically, solve realistic problems, and write clearly. The CLA examines how well a sample of freshmen and seniors do on nationally administered tests.
The reports below provide results for our senior and freshman populations from 2010 to the present.

The 2005 through 2009 reports provide longitudinal results for the freshman class of 2005. This class was re-tested in spring 2007 as juniors and in spring 2009 as seniors. The 2006 report also includes a crosssectional comparison of fall 2005 freshmen and spring 2006 seniors.
