Subject: Sign for Ref desk when librarian not there

During Quarter Break, when things are slow, there is a sign we can put up at the Research Help Desk that says “For HELP with Research questions, when the Librarian is not here, please dial x 3076.”

 [Also place the telephone handset that is usually to your right to the front and center on the desk and face it out towards the patrons - JK]

I will be glad to contact you (in your office), should a patron phone me with a reference question.

And, if you are putting the sign up, please let me know.
