Checking Out Books to the Reference Account
Reference Librarians can check out books using the Reference Department's Library Account.  This is for cases where the book(s) need an indefinite circulation period.

Reference people can ask that the book be checked out to 'REFERENCE DEPARTMENT" when checking the book out at the Circ desk.

The account can also be used to request LINK+ books.  See Emma for account number and password.

Subject: Link+ requests for REFERENCE-procedure

As an afterthought to today's discussion of how to use Link+ for checking out books by "REFERENCE," please let me know if you have submitted a request, so that when the notice comes in our mail [to REFERENCE] that the book is available for pickup at the Circulation desk I will know who to give the book to (since your name is not identified with the request, only "Reference"). Thank you.
