The goal of Studio 6 is to provide assistance to faculty, staff and students for their multimedia technology and online learning needs. The Studio 6 facilities are high-tech learning workspaces designed to allow faculty, students and staff to work with web development,multimedia, digital video projects and online courses.

Change in services

Studio 6 has been a place where faculty could send students needing assistance with multimedia technology such as web development, video production, graphic design and audio production. Studio 6 will continue to provide that support, but in a limited manner.

Faculty requests for student workshops and class trainings will be honored based on availability of Studio 6 staff and resources during normal business hours.

Students are expected to have the basic technology skills to complete course assignments using software programs which we support. Studio 6 cannot assume the responsibility of teaching software programs needed to complete course assignments, but rather assist students with technical issues or questions that arise.

 

Operating Hours

Due to severe cuts in state funding, Studio 6 has reduced its hours of operation and modified the services that it provides.

All support will be provided during these new hours.

Monday - Friday*: 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m

*We will be closed on “Furlough Fridays” and all University holidays: 10/02, 10/23, 11/06, 11/20, 11/26, 11/27, 12/4

Our first day of operation for Fall 2009 will be Monday, September 28, 2009.
