Blackboard, Cal Poly Pomona's e-learning environment, provides students with the opportunity to stay connected with their instructors and classmates. Click here for details
Respondus is a Windows application that can be used to create a database of questions that can be used for either paper-and-pencil tests or can be uploaded into WebCT or Blackboard. Click here for details
Multimedia Production
Multimedia Production is offered as a professional service to faculty and staff. Project types may include interactive tools and demonstrations, interactive and traditional web design, motion graphics and animation, and DVD or CD-ROM authoring. Click here for details

Studio 6 is a high-end computing lab and creative environment designed to assist students, faculty and staff with web development, multimedia, digital video projects, and online courses. Click here for details
Mediavision is a video production studio and digital encoding facility that provides the university with streaming video, cable television programming, and live webcasts of campus activities and events. Click here for details
Video Production
Video Production is offered through our Mediavision unit. Our facilities include a state of the art digital video and audio
production studio. From scripting assistance to videotaping and editing, we can produce videos and encode programs for streaming
over the internet and for conventional broadcasting or DVD. Click here for details
Video Streaming
Video Streaming is offered through both mid (300k) and low (56k) bandwidth
stream rates, ensuring universal access. Digital media material
are archived and streamed for both live and on-demand viewing

Date of the Institute: Week of June 16, 2008
The Summer Institute takes a comprehensive and systematic approach to the integration of instructional technologies into teaching and learning with sound pedagogy. The Institute will consist of an immersive, week-long series of interactive workshops, technology skills sessions, hands-on project work, and group discussions.
