I & IT Enterprise Applications Department

I&IT Enterprise Applications supports the centralized administrative information systems used across the campus. The main software applications supported include:

  • BroncoDirect
    This is a web-based service that allows students, faculty and staff to access administrative services, such as course registration, class lists, fee payments, adds and drops, and grades.
  • Peoplesoft
    This is the primary student information system, used by the Registrar, Admissions, Financial Aid and Cashier's offices, as well as faculty and staff across the campus. PeopleSoft also support the Finance and Human Resources functions. Many PeopleSoft services are accessible from BroncoDirect.
  • Fee Payments
     The fee payment capabilities of BroncoDirect and are supported by a set of services with handle both credit card and eCheck payment transactions.

The department also includes MediaVision, which provides the campus community with educational, informational and public relations video programming delivered in a variety of formats. Our team is comprised of engineers and a creative technical staff responsible for the operation and maintenance of facilities, infrastructure, equipment, and systems utilized in the production of professional-quality audio and video resources.

A number of related software applications are also supported, along with Oracle databases and the underlying operating systems.

The staff of I&IT Enterprise Applications consists of a staff of highly-skilled and experienced individuals, providing technical services in the following areas:

  • Software Maintenance and Enhancements
    A team of analyst / programmers performs maintenance and enhancement work on the PeopleSoft Finance and HCM/HRSA modules, and the BroncoDirect web-based software.
  • PeopleSoft Administration A team of PeoplsSoft administrators maintains the PeopleSoft databases.

I&IT Enterprise Applications works directly with the management and staffs of the administrative units on campus, and coordinates activities closely with the I&IT Projects, I&IT Technical Support and I&IT Systems departments, who provide project management and support the underlying computer equipment and networks.
