Institute of Industrial Engineering

The Institute of Industrial Engineers is an international organization that was founded in 1948. IIE promotes various areas of the  industrial engineering field by publishing magazines and books, holding conferences, supporting students and much more.

The Cal Poly Pomona Chapter organizes several social and professional activities throughout the year. Through these activities, students are encouraged to network within the department, with members of industry  and with other universities. Students find opportunities to develop their  skills in communication, leadership, teamwork and planning.
