USE OF LEAVE CREDITS/LEAVES OF ABSENCE

Employee may use sickleave credits for in-patient (hospital/facility) treatment and for appointments for out-patient counseling.
If sick leave credits have been exhausted, employees may request the use of vacation/other leave credits.
If all leave credits have been exhausted, the employee may request an unpaid leave of absence, using the appropriate form and submitting the request through the line organization to Payroll Services.
For eligible employees, Non-Industrial Disability Insurance (NDI) may be used to supplement an unpaid leave.
