Effective date for all changes made during open enrollment will be January 1, 2013.
Open Enrollment is also the period when employees can enroll or re-enroll in the Health Care Reimbursement Account (HCRA) or Dependent Care Reimbursement Account (DCRA). IRS rules require re-enrollment each tax year to participate in HCRA and/or DCRA. Additional information is available regarding these accounts on the Benefits website at: Flexible Benefit Programs: HCRA/ DCRA .
If you do not wish to make any changes to your existing benefit enrollment(s), no action is required except enrollment into Flexible Spending Accounts (HCRA/DCRA) requires annual enrollment during open enrollment period.
