
The Open Enrollment Period will be from October 10, 2011 through November 4, 2011, with the effective date of January 1, 2012 for changes filed during this period.
During Open Enrollment, eligible employees may enroll, change health plans, delete family members or add eligible family members (including dependent children under age 26 regardless of their marital or student status).
Open Enrollment is also the period when employees can enroll or re-enroll in the Health Care Reimbursement Account (HCRA) or Dependent Care Reimbursement Account (DCRA). IRS rules require re-enrollment each tax year to participate in HCRA and/or DCRA. If you do not wish to make any changes to your existing benefit enrollment(s), no action is required except enrollment into Flexible Spending Accounts (HCRA/DCRA) requires annual enrollment during open enrollment period.
