AGREES

AGREES is a well-established college based program designed to provide faculty mentors to student members, a quiet area for studying, and activities to support student group interaction.

AGREES membership is available to all students that ask for assistance and sign-up for the services. The AGREES faculty coordinator and student assistants meet weekly to discuss operational aspects of the program and plan special activities. They provide a minimum of one special event/workshop each quarter. An additional benefit of the program is that members of AGREES receive discounts on tutoring arranged through the Learning Resource Center (LRC).

The AGREES study/advising room is open every weekday including extended evening hours. Students have access to computers and help from student assistants in directing them to the proper campus resources. The AGREES room is a convenient place for students to meet and discuss common concerns and receive direction. The AGREES study room provides its members with a "sense of community and belonging."
