Studies show students who get involved and make connections on campus have higher rates of success and satisfaction. The Kellogg Honors College offers several opportunities for students to get involved with fellow honors students through a variety of formal and informal events.
The Kellogg Honors College facilitates learning outside the classroom through academic, cultural, and professional development themed events. These events include: professional conferences, community service, theatrical productions, academic lectures, research symposiums, and more.
Located in building 1, room 201 the Honors Commons is a space reserved only for Honors students to meet and study. The Honors Commons includes access to computers and printing.
The purpose of the club is to foster community among Honors students through social events and activities. The club is student run and all Kellogg Honors College students are members. Visit the club's website at www.csupomona.edu/~honorsclub.
Honors Ambassadors is a select group of Kellogg Honors College students who provide outreach services to prospective Cal Poly Pomona students. By collaborating with the Office of Admissions and Outreach the Ambassadors officially represent the university and the Honors college at various recruiting events throughout the year
The Kellogg Honors College and University Housing Services collaborated to create two learning communities at Cal Poly Pomona. Honors students who live on-campus can elect to stay in a Poly Scholars community located in the Montecito residence hall and the Vista del Sol suite. These communities are reserved for high achieving students where specialized programs and events occur.
