2012 Sophomore and Transfer Application Information
The application for current Cal Poly Pomona first year students and incoming new transfer students will be available on this webpage in early June 2013. The admissions period for Fall 2012 is over.
Showcase of Excellence
Every January the Kellogg Honors College hosts the Showcase of Excellence at Cal Poly Pomona. Showcase of Excellence is an event where prospective students and their families are invited to meet with Kellogg Honors College students and staff. Attendees will also have opportunities to meet representatives from all eight colleges and various campus services (e.g., University Housing Services, Admissions, etc.). Students are invited to attend based on their high school GPA and SAT/ACT scores.
Eligibility
Incoming Freshman: (Fall 2013)
- Un-weighted high school GPA of 3.50
- Exempt from English and math remediation (550+ on the SAT math & critical reading sections, ACT score of 23+ for math and 22+ for English, appropriate EPT / ELM score, or AP calculus or English score of 3+)
- An application to Cal Poly Pomona by the November 30, 2011 deadline must be completed before applying to the Kellogg Honors College.
