Capstone Project

Capstone Contract is due Wednesday, November 14 for Winter 2013

What is the Capstone?

Princeton University defines a capstone as "a final touch; a crowning achievement; a culmination." The capstone is an independent project conducted under the supervision of a faculty member (faculty mentor). It is a culminating experience displaying any combination of the student's academic interests, major, and/or knowledge of a particular topic. It should represent scholarship in the student's academic field of study. Completing the capstone and presenting it at Convocation (every May) is a requirement to graduate from the KHC. The Capstone course cannot be taken the same Spring quarter of a student's graduation.
