Learn and apply the scientific method in laboratory experiments as well as research studies commissioned by outside organizations. Look at peoples’ genes to see what they should eat. Use gene splicing and DNA research to develop new nutritional therapies for cancer. Go on to advanced degrees in nutrition, pharmacology or epidemiology. Or to med, vet, or dental school.
