cannot be made through the web). You will be offered a selection of appointment days and times that best meet your schedule.
Urgent Care is available for sudden or same day illnesses and injuries on a walk-in basis. Whenever possible, please call ahead to help minimize your delay.

Calling for an Appointment
If you have a preference for a specific clinician, let us know so that we can schedule you with your choice. Be prepared to give the following information when asked:
- Your Bronco ID number
- YOUR BEST PHONE NUMBER for reaching you when the need arises
- A brief description of the length and duration of your symptoms
- Your current status as a Cal Poly Pomona student (currently enrolled or sitting out a quarter)
- Whether or not you are a new patient
Also know that your medical records are confidential and that we must adhere to strict legal guidelines to ensure your privacy.
As a new patient, plan to arrive about 20 minutes before your scheduled time and check in with the receptionist at the front desk. Remember to sign the parking log, if you parked in our lot, and be sure to bring your Bronco ID to determine your eligibility. [IF YOU ARE UNDER 18 YEARS OF AGE, you will be required to bring in a completed Minor Consent form (PDF) before being seen.]
Proceed to the appropriate treatment area as directed by the receptionist, and wait for your name to be called. Because we now operate with an electronic medical records system, you will not receive any paperwork per se.
As a good precautionary measure, if you are covered by an outside insurance company, plan to carry your insurance card or a copy of your parent's card, so that necessary medical services can be provided in a timely fashion should the need arise.
If you are a Continuing CPP Student (have attended classes at least 2 consecutive quarters previously, are not currently enrolled, and intend to resume classes the following quarter), you will be charged about 1/3 of the current health fee for each of the first 3 visits. Payment may be made with cash, check, MasterCard or Visa at the time services are rendered.
Cancelling Your Appointment
If you need to cancel your appointment, please login to My Bronco Health Manager and go to the Appointments link, or call 909-869-4000 and speak to a receptionist during our business hours. WE DO NOT PROCESS ANY CANCELLATIONS VIA EMAIL. We appreciate you notifying us at least 24 hours in advance so that we might schedule another patient in your time slot.
Call during normal business hours to schedule an initial appointment. If you are experiencing a crisis, you may drop in for walk-in services during our hours of operation. We are located in the Bronco Bookstore Building (Building 66-116). You may also call us anytime (24 hours a day, 7 days a week) to speak with a crisis counselor at 909-869-3220 and press option 2.
Health Education Appointments
As part of your fee-covered basic services, professional Health Educators are available to provide one-on-one education on a variety of health topics at no cost. Most appointments are scheduled for 45 minutes to an hour. Login to My Bronco Health Manager to schedule an appointment with a Health Educator, or call for an appointment, or stop in to the SHCS Wellness Center (Bldg. 46, Parking lot entrance) to receive confidential information and assistance on a wide variety of health topics.
