Bronco Activity Record (MyBAR) for Student Engagement
MyBAR is a system to record co-curricular student activities in a central data system. It will be possible to accuartely document student activities, study the impact that they have on academic performance, and use this information in student advisinig. Two benefits of the system under development include the ability for students to look at their own record and to learn about all the campus organizations in one place. The system will be launched in Fall Quarter 2011. The Dean of Students obtained a Kellogg Legacy Endowment Grant to partially fund these activities, and the Graduation Initiative is supporting this effort.
