Enriching Courses to Improve Student Success
Students’ time to degree is delayed when they must repeat a course multiple times before achieving the necessary grade to continue. The solution is not simply to award the grade needed, but to boost students’ performance so they achieve the desired learning outcomes in their first attempt. The Enriching Courses Project will provide support to departments to enrich high enrollment courses, particularly those identified as “bottleneck” courses, in which a significant number of registered students do not meet the learning outcomes of the course.
Departments are invited to submit proposals funded through a Kellogg Legacy Endowment Grant administered by the Graduation Initiative Steering Committee. The RFP is available here.
