The Cal Poly Pomona Biological Sciences Microscopy Facility
Co-Directors of the Microscopy Facility:
Dr. David P. Campbell
Dr. Glenn H. Kageyama
The Cal Poly Pomona Biological
Sciences Microscopy Facility consists of Fluorescence Microscopy
Lab (8-30), a Digital Imaging Center (8-31), an Ultramicrotomy
room (8-32), a W.M. Keck Foundation sponsored 3-D Microscopy/Telemicroscopy
Lab (8-32A), an EM Prep room (8-34), a Transmission
Electron Microscope room (8-34A), a Scanning Electron Microscope
room (8-34B), and a fully operational Microscopy Facility
Darkroom (8-34C). In addition, a number of Departmental
Computer laboratories, smart classrooms, and portable Microscope
carts with computer and digital projector are also linked to the Microscopy
Facility. The recent enhancement of the Biological Sciences Microscopy Facility has been made possible by a W.M. Keck Grant awarded to the Departments of Electrical
and Computer Engineering (P.I.: Dr. Elhami Ibrahim) and Biological Sciences (P.I.s: Dr. Lenard Troncale & Dr. Glenn
H. Kageyama).
