Electrical issues short-circuit Cal Poly Pomona's race entry

Cal Poly Pomona's Formula Racing team failed to finish the endurance course of the 2006 Formula Society of Automotive Engineers West competition on Saturday.

Cal Poly Pomona was one of 71 teams, including 12 international teams, that registered for the event at the California Speedway.

More than a dozen Cal Poly Pomona students helped design and build the car.
