1/22/10 New Website Under Construction The new website is currently under construction. Hopefully by the end of winter quarter it will be complete. Alot of progress has been made on the 2010 chassis and things should start all coming together very soon. If you are interested about working in the shop this is your chance!!

1/11/10 Roll Hoops Are Up
Last Friday we were able to go get the main roll hoops for the 2010 chassis CNC bent. After hours of intensive setting up and precise measuring they are now officially tacked in place on the chassis table and ready for the rest of the tubes to be welded in. There will be alot of progress during the winter quarter and plenty of opportunity for new members to get their hands dirty.
9/22/09 Joining the Team Interested in joining the team? Cal Poly Pomona FSAE is looking for new members to join the team for the upcoming year. Cal Poly FSAE is a student led organization which enables you to gain knowledge and hands-on experience with the complete manufacturing process of a race car, learn to work with corporate sponsors, and organize team events. All majors are welcome to participate on the team, we are looking for motivated people ready to contribute positively to the team. Dont know anything about cars? You have nothing to worry about, this is the main objective of the team. Finally a chance to learn and use your knowledge from the classroom on a true hands on project. Please come by our first meeting on October 1st at 12:00PM in building 9 room 219 for your chance to learn more about the team goals, meet the current team members and show your interest in becoming a member for this upcoming year!!!
8/31/09 Formula Student Germany 2009
The 2009 Formula Student competition at Hockenheim Germany began 8/5 and concluded 8/9 with 77 participating schools from around the world. The competition was fierce and the Cal Poly Pomona team placed 16th in engineering design, 15th in the overall dynamic events, and 17th overall. Official resulsts and be viewed here. 7/01/09 Formula SAE California 2009
The 2009 Formula SAE California competition has concluded Saturday 6/20. The Cal Poly Pomona team finished 12th place in skidpad, 4th in acceleration, and 10th in autocross. Due to unforeseen issues with the muffler we were pulled from the endurance event, but still placed 19th overall. Results of the competition can be seen here. We are currently working on testing and fine tuning the car and getting ready for Formula Student Germany in August. We are in good spirit and are confident in our performance at Hockenheim.

The Cal Poly Pomona Formula Racing Team is officially registered for the 2009 Formula Student Germany Competition. We are car number 55!
10/22/08 Welcome Fair
There will be no meeting on Thursday 10/23. The team will be at the Welcome Fair from 11am to 1pm along with many other engineering clubs on campus.
10/03/08 Race Car Design Seminar by Peter Bryant
Please join us with race car designer Peter Bryant as guest speaker on Friday, October 10th at 3:30 pm. The event will be held in the CLA builing at room P-2-007.
