1/29/08 Special Italy Presentation
There will be a special presentation about the 2007 FSAE Italy competition held in room 17-2257 on Thursday January, 31st from 12:00PM - 1:00PM. Everyone is welcome to attend! Please come out to support us.

10/7/07 Welcome Week
On Thursday October 11th we will have a table out for Welcome week. Please come and find us infront of building 17. Please note that there will be no team meeting that day.

10/3/07 First Meeting Location
We have a room number! We will be meeting at 12:00PM in building 9 room 219. I will see you all there!

10/3/07 First Meeting and Pictures
For all thoes interested in joining our club this year we will have our first meeting October 4th at 12pm. We are having some issues reserving a room for the meeting, so the location is still TBA. I appologize for this, and you can be sure that we are doing what we can to be able to have a room available for us. Please continue to check the website as I will post the room number here as soon as possible.

9/27/07 We're Back
The Team is back from Italy with a respectable 5th place. It was a once in a lifetime event for us. We are very privileged to have raced with the best teams in Europe at Ferrari's own test track. Thank you to Firenze Race Team V2 for being our host, we could have not been able to do this without you. Also, thank you to all our sponsors and supporters for helping to make it possible.

This race has officially culminated the 2007 race season. We are already in the process of designing and building the 2008 car. We will use all our experience and knowledge gained in 2007 to be a better, faster, stronger team in 2008. We hope you will all continue to support us in our new race season.

Also, for those looking to join our team, we will have our first meeting on October 4th at 12PM. The meeting room is still pending and will be announced at a later date.

8/29/07 We're going to Italy!
The team is soon leaving for Italy to compete on the Ferrari test track! This is an extremly exciting event for us as it is the first international competition the Cal Poly Formula team has competed in since 2000.

While in Italy, we will be keeping a blog of our events and experiences. You can access it here.

We will be the only team competing from the USA, and we hope to make the school and the country proud.

8/29/07 For all those that want to join
IMPORTANT! For anyone looking to join the formula team for this upcomming school year, you must be enrolled in EGR102L. It is a one unit credit/no credit class. The class only meets once during the semester for an overview of shop safety. This class is required to be able to work inside the ME Projects lab.

We will also be having our first meeting of the new year on Thursday, October 4th. We are in need of as many dedicated and passionate students as possible, so if you are considering joining the team, then please attend. The meeting room will be announced at a later date.

7/26/07 Autocross At Cali Speedway!
On August 11th and 12th we will be hosting an autocross at California Speedway! The price to run will be $75 each day. Registered drivers will recieve complimentary lunches. Pictures from the 2007 FSAE West Competition are up!

6/24/07 FSAE West
The results are in! We placed 11th out of 80 in last weeks FSAE West competition. This is up 10 places from last years 21st place finish. This is also the first time that we have completed the endurance race since 2003! This team has improved by leaps and bounds over the year, and we hope to keep that momentum going into 2008. Pictures will be posted soon, so please check back regularly.

6/07/07 A Short Survey
In order to understand how our product would perform in the automotive market Cal Poly Pomona Formula Racing is conducting a short 7 question survey. Please take the time to fill out this survey, as it would greatly help to further the development of our organization.

6/01/07 After Detroit
The Detroit Competition was definately a learning experience for us. We didn't do as well as we expected, and placed 55th out of 106. We were unable to finish the endurance event due to a problem with one of our half shafts on lap 18 of 20. As a team, we will use our experience in detroit to further develop ourselves. With the California and Italy competitions comming up, we are doing what we can to ensure a stronger performance.

4/26/07 Competition Preparation
Competition is comming up in only 20 days, and we only have 16 days left with the car before we have to send it out. We are working out the final kinks with the engine, and expect to dyno tune this friday. Our goal is to have the car on the ground running by this weekend in order to preform some dynamic testing. Also, the pictures from the 2007 unveiling are now posted. Please note that you must have flash player installed on your computer to be able to view them.

4/22/07 Unveiling
Cal Poly Pomona had its official unveiling of the 2007 formula car on April 14th. The event was a huge success, and all of our guests were pleased to see all that we have accomplished. Thank you to all thoes who attended, the event would not have been possible without you.

3/01/07 Formula ATA
Cal Poly Pomona Formula Racing announced today its registration in the 2007 formula ATA Competition in Fiorano, Italy. The team will field its 2007 challenger representing the nation as the first U.S. competitor in Formula ATA.

By that time we will have had two competitions under belt, and a summers worth of tuning, so we have the potential to perform very strongly in this competition.

10/3/06 Meeting Room
For the rest of the fall quarter we will be having our meetings in room 9-243 on Thursdays at noon.
