University Village, Phase III

The University Village, Phase III Project is an in-fill housing project that consists of 5 new Type V residential buildings, three stories in height designed to accommodate approximately 476 beds, the demolition of building 10 and the Maintenance building, construction of a new Maintenance building, expansion of the Community Center building, realignment of existing pedestrian and vehicular circulation, new basketball court, new perimeter property line walls as needed, new landscaping and irrigation through out the property. The pedestrian and vehicular entry points to and from the property wil be redefined with access across the San Jose Flood Control Channel. Surface parking shall be carefully evaluated and redesigned to maximize the number of parking spaces for students, staff, visitors, and service vehicles. Existing utilities will be re-routed and extended while adding new services as needed by the Foundation.
