Library Addition and Renovation Phase I

About This Project

This project will construct additional library space which will address the need to provide state of the art information stations, library instructional spaces, enhanced reading areas, (including a two-story volume grand reading room), group study rooms, academic lecture spaces as well as 24-hour study space. The existing ground, first and second floors will be remodeled and will include program, accessibility and circulation improvements.

Once the construction portion of the project nears it completion the University will be managing the installation of Group I and II components such as carpeting, book stacks, telephone, data, signage, furniture and equipment required to complete the project. The current budget for this scope of work is 10 million dollars and is scheduled to be completed for the opening of academic classes in fall 2008.
