Domestic Water Line Loop Extension Ph. II & IIA

About This Project

The project consists of a new 10” water line connecting the two existing ends of the campus’ domestic water service, including fire hydrants and flood control channel crossings.

Progress of Major Construction Activities

  • The 10” pipe has been installed along the Agriscapes field north of South Campus Drive, across the San Jose Creek channel, and along the Center for Training Technology & Incubation parking lot. Pipe Installation will continue to a final point of connection by Innovation Way.

Key/Critical Issues Currently Pending

  • Contractor has been directed to chlorinate, disinfect and pressure test the line at a point near the east end of the CTTI parking lot; remaining installation of the 10” pipe will be phased and coordinated with the work (by others) of Innovation Village Phase 4 building site and structure.
