The College of Business Administration will be located adjacent to the University’s Rose Garden on the present site of the Ornamental Horticulture (OH) Unit along University Drive. It will be a new three building complex ( Buildings 162,163 & 164). Building 164 will be a 3-story steel frame plastered structure for faculty/administration. Buildings 162 and 163 will be a 1-story and 2-story concrete masonry unit buildings. The placement of these three buildings will create an exterior landscaped courtyard which can serve as pre-function gathering space, quiet study space and special occasion meeting space for the College.
This project will add approximately 74,500 gross square feet and will include the installation of the state-of-the-art Learning Centered Technology Initiative equipment in all instructional and lecture classrooms. Data connectivity to the campus’ internet network will also be available throughout these offices, conference rooms and instruction classrooms.
Building 164 will house 115 faculty offices, department offices, conference rooms, multi-purpose room and support spaces. A food services facility will also be located on the ground floor. Building 163 will house five 83-station case-study type classrooms, two 35-station multi-mode classrooms, six 48-station classrooms & conference rooms. Building 162 will include two large lecture rooms, one with 201 stations. and one with 121 stations.
