The College of Business Administration project will consist of three separate buildings: Wing A will house 117 offices and various sizes of conference rooms within three floors. Wing B will house two large tiered lecture rooms in a one story structure and Wing C will house multiple classrooms, lecture rooms, two multi-mode instructional computing classrooms in a two story structure.
Among these three structures, this project will add approximately 80,000 gross square feet and will include the installation of the state-of-the-art Learning Centered Technology Initiative equipment in all instructional and lecture classrooms. Data connectivity to the campus’ internet network will also be available throughout these offices, conference rooms and instruction classrooms.
Sustainability benefits for this project include: low “E” glazing window systems, a connection to the campus chilled water system, an energy efficient lighting systems, a thermoplastic membrane solar reflective white roofing system (‘cool-roof system’), a connection to the campus’ high voltage electrical grid service, an efficient HVAC system and the building’s men’s restrooms will be plumbed for a future retrofit of waterless urinals.
