The Ethnobotany Learning Center is a landscape improvement project that supports the Biotrek Project's broad goals of environmental education. The design concept for the Ethnobotany Learning Center is the "village". This "village" employs California native plants and highlights relationships Native Americans have with plants and the natural world. Paths through the site provide a means for visitors to explore these relationships. The village is organized around a Native American "Ceremonial Gathering Area".
