The project will extend existing electrical and telecom infrastructure near the Rose Garden and CLA building into the northeast quadrant of the campus necessary for future development. The new electrical infrastructure consists of three 5” power conduits and three manholes. The new telecom infrastructure will connect existing manhole #71 towards the northwest corner of the new College of Business site. Implementation of the infrastructure work is now 75% completed and is expected to be completed by November 2009. The total project cost is approximately $310,000.The project is currently in progress and the pace of work was significantly increased before commencing of the Spring Quarter in order to minimize possible impacts in and around the CLA building.
