The Fire Alarm Upgrades project consists of engineering and designing a new system that complies with all current applicable standards and codes, communicates and integrates with other campus fire alarm systems and any potential future fire alarm related upgrades. The buildings being upgraded are 1, 2, 6, 9, 13, 25, 29, 41, 43 and 46. Due to good results, Buildings 67, 89 and 92 have been added to the Fire Alarm Upgrades for this year. There is also consideration on reprogramming the Fire Alarm System in Building 4. Last year, Buildings 7, 8 and 45 were completed.
