AGRIscapes was conceived of an idea to showcase landscaping, agriculture and conservation in one of the leading food and agricultural education centers in Southern California. This project is a complex of educational facilities proposed for both the University and public use. It will serve as a resource center for the public, as well as the campus community. AGRIscapes will feature a farm store, agriculture and horticultural learning center, visitor center and other educational and community resources. This recently completed site is now an opportunity for the College of Agriculture to reinforce its mission to combine teaching about food production, processing and marketing. Construction began in July 2000 and was completed in October 2001.
