If you are a California resident with an EFC less than 4000 and meet all other requirements, you may qualify for a State University Grant. The grant amount ranges up to $3,414 depending on your unmet need. If your unmet need exceeds $3,414, enter the maximum State University Grant in the space indicated. If your unmet need is lower than $3,414 enter the amount of your unmet need as the amount you will receive through the State University Grant.

Based on the remaining unmet need, you may qualify for a student loan. The loan amount can range from $500-$8,500 depending on your remaining unmet need. If your remaining unmet need (from above) is greater than $8,500, enter the maximum amount of loan funds for which you qualify. If your remaining unmet need is less than $8,500, enter the amount of your remaining unmet need to determine the loan amount for which you may apply.

Any remaining unmet need may be filled with an Unsubsidized Stafford Loan up to $5500 based on the amount for which you qualify. The above amounts listed for grant and loan funds are estimates (and are not guaranteed) of what you may be awarded based upon admission to Cal Poly Pomona.
