• We are very honored to say that the society has yet again been awarded "Superior Chapter" for the 2007/2008 school year. Thank you all for your support. Let's make this 2009/2010 year another successful year.

 

• During the 2005-2006 year, the Finance Society became internationally chartered with the Financial Management Association International (FMA), and adopted the National Honor Society membership. The FMA, established in 1970, is known as “the global leader in developing and disseminating knowledge about financial decision making,” (www. fma.org). At the end of the 2006 academic year, the FMA designated Cal Poly’s Finance Society as a “Superior Chapter,” the highest honor for an FMA Student Chapter. Of the over 200 active student chapters, only 5% receive this honor each year.
