How can higher education create a community of critical thinkers that transcends the boundaries of class, gender, and nation? Drawing on the classical philosophers, Nussbaum establishes three core values of liberal education, and then shows these values at work in schools across the nation. How can we, as a polytechnic institution, apply these ideas to educate such "citizens of the world?"
