Using the Mendeley reference manager tool

Dr. Ali Sharbat (Civil Engineering) offers a hands-on workshop to faculty and students about how to use the Mendeley free reference manager tool.  Mendeley can help you manage citations (and avoid plagiarism!), organize academic work, collaborate with others online, and discover research and innovations relevant to your interests.  Faculty, please feel free to invite your students!

Faculty Professional Writing Institute

Monday -- Wednesday Dec. 15 -- 17

Start off your winter break by making progress on articles, grant proposals, book chapters -- or whatever else you're writing!  Writing in the company of other faculty can be energizing.  You bring your laptop and your ideas.  We provide tables, coffee, wireless internet, power strips, and food.  Register for one, two, or three days, whatever fits your schedule.  LIMITED TO 12 PARTICIPANTS.
