Courses
Courses are open to all students in the university. Enrollment is encouraged for those who are
seriously concerned about diversity and the quality of life in the 21st-century. Fields in which
such concerns can find direct application are teaching, urban planning, social services, politics,
recreation, law, the ministry, and others that have a direct bearing on particular ethnic
and gender groups.
A new service learning requirement allows students an applied experience
prior to graduation. Students have the choice of enrolling in EWS280, EWS200
and 400, or service learning designated courses.
