Information Conference attendees hear about what it is like to offer PLTW courses for the first time. Teacher Jaqueline Cammon and her students from Fremont Middle School in Pomona Unified School District spoke about their experiences as a new PLTW school at an Information Conference at Cal Poly Pomona in Spring 2009. |
Why
Project Lead The Way (PLTW) is a not-for-profit organization partnering with public schools, organizations in the private sector, and higher education institutions to increase the number and quality of engineers graduating from our educational system.
PLTW provides a pre-engineering sequence of course work for high school and middle school students. PLTW courses utilize project- and problem-based learning that teaches students how to apply what they are learning to real-life situations.
