MEP Director Milton Randle Among Distinguished Visitors
Invited Aboard Navy Aircraft Carrier

This once in a lifetime experience brought together a dynamic and diverse group of leaders in the engineering and aeronautical education field who are active and influential in their community, business or government. Distingushed visitors were inivted from all over the country to spend the night on the navy aircraft carrier. Among the guests was Milton Randle, Cal Poly Pomona MEP Director.

This once in a lifetime experience included an arrested landing via tailhook and a launch off the carrier in a US Navy C-2 Aircraft., as well a tour of the USS John C. Stennis Navy Aircraft Carrier.

With an introduction into the world of Naval Aviation, the US Navy is hopeful that each visitor got to see how impressive the team of Officer and Enlisted Sailors work together in one of the most dynamic and dangerous environments in the world for the accomplishment of their mission.

The US Navy is trying to make a difference in Diversity efforts for Naval Aviation and hope that the experience empowers each visitor to encourage the best and brightest students they know to considering flying in the Navy.
