Summer Training Institute
The Summer Training Institute is a two-week intensive course to give teachers an overview of the PLTW courses to be taught to middle school and high school students. The Summer Training Institue courses are taught by Project Lead the Way Master Teachers.
Teachers from across California are invited to take advantage of the Project Lead the Way Summer Training Institute at Cal Poly Pomona.
At Summer Training Institute, teachers learn how to use design software and work in teams to build their projects so that they can take what they learn back to their students in the classroom. In the Gateway To Technology summer training 2009 at Cal Poly Pomona, teachers used Fischertechnik kits to create a working assembly line. |
