Mark A. Stevens
Group President, Fluor Corporation

Mark A. Stevens serves as a Group Executive of Fluor Corporation, responsible for Fluor's project risk review processes and identifying opportunities to improve our commercial approaches.

Prior to assuming his current position, Stevens was responsible for the oversight of the company's Duke/Fluor Daniel, Fluor Power, AMECO, Construction & Procurement and Operations & Maintenance business units.  The Operations & Maintenance business unit includes Fluor's temporary staffing unit, TRS Staffing Solutions and maintenance turnaround specialty firm, Plant Performance Services (P2S).

Stevens served as senior executive of Sales, Marketing & Strategic Planning for Fluor Corporation, responsible for the corporation's sales, strategic planning, risk management, business investment, marketing and regional sales activities.

Stevens also has served as president of Energy & Chemicals for Fluor Daniel, the company's largest engineering and construction unit.  Serving in this capacity, Stevens was responsible for all oil, gas and chemicals projects within the company and responsible for the management of Fluor Daniel's joint-venture companies: ICA Fluor, which performs work in Mexico and Central America, and Duke/Fluor Daniel, which serves the global fossil-fuel power industry.  Stevens continues to sit on ICA Fluor's board of directors.

Since joining Fluor in 1975, Stevens has held many diverse leadership positions, including president of Central American Operations, vice president of Latin American Operations and vice president of Operations for the Gas Turbine business unit.

Stevens earned a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona and a master's degree in business administration from California State University Fullerton.  He is a graduate of the advanced management program at Wharton and a professional engineer in the state of California. 

Stevens sits on the boards of Children's Hospital of Orange County (CHOC) at Mission and on the board of MSC Software (NYSE symbol MNS).  Stevens is on the audit committee of CHOC and chairs the Nominating and Governance Committee for the MSC Software Board.
