College Academic Standards Committee
The College Academic Standards Committee has two functions:
1) to assist in the development of college policies and practices, which are described on our Web, in areas such as disqualification, student discipline, academic and other petitions.
2) to review reconsideration requests resulting from decisions made by the Associate Dean, who applies campus policies as well as college policies and practices, in dealing with the student requests in these areas.
Meets: The committee meets as required, with meetings being called by the Associate Dean.

ADCom
The Administrative Committee is the fulcrum of the college governance structure, providing the balance and coordination point for all college activities. ADCOM consists of the Dean, Associate Dean, the seven Academic Department Chairs and the Directors of Maximizing Engineering Potential, Graduate Studies and Research, and of College Staff Services. The purpose of the committee is to provide both strategic and operational direction for the college as a whole.
Meets: Weekly on Tuesdays 8:30-10:00 am

College Curriculum Committee
The committee deals with curricular issues for all programs in the college. It interfaces and coordinates university wide with the Academic Senate and Academic Programs Office. It reviews and recommends curriculum changes and policies to the dean.

Outcomes Assessment Committee
This on-going committee monitors and guides the implementation of the department outcomes assessment process of the college and departments in the continuious improvement mode; per ABET, Cal Poly Pomona and the CSU requirements.

Graduate Program Committee
The committee monitors and guides the operational, programmatic, and curricular issues of the college graduate programs. Curriculum updates are forwarded to the College Curriculum Committee; all other matters are implemented by the Director of Graduate Programs and Research.

Faculty Search Committees
The elected faculty search committees are responsible for ensuring correct and orderly search processes while developing an outstanding pool of diverse candidates. The committees, working with their department chair, the college dean and associate dean, invite and host a short list of candidates to campus. They recommend finalists to the dean via the department chair.
