CPP WE provides a supportive community for our current female engineering students through a series of events held during the academic year. At these events, students will have the opportunity to obtain resources to help them succeed and meet other female engineering students, faculty, and alumnae.

  • CPP WE (Women in Engineering) Welcome Lunch: This welcome lunch will be held in the fall to welcome the incoming first year female engineering students to Cal Poly Pomona. At this lunch students will meet and interact with other female engineering students, plus engineering faculty and Dean’s Office staff.
  • WE Talk (Alumnae Speaker Series): Alumnae will be invited once a quarter to speak to current female engineering students and to offer tools to succeed in various areas of engineering including academics and professional development. Upcoming WE TALK’s

  • CPP WE Ambassadors: As a CPP WE Ambassador you will have the opportunity to become part of a supportive community and participate in various activities. CPP WE Ambassadors will provide support for CPP WE events and programs. As a CPP WE ambassador you will also have the opportunity to become a liaison for the College of Engineering and K-12 schools by introducing young girls to engineering through outreach visits. The ambassadors program will also have leadership positions available for students who are interested.
  • Because engineering is a team effort, strong people skills lead to significantly more opportunities for career advancement. Current students are encouraged to join a club or organization at Cal Poly Pomona:
