Step-by-Step
Instructions to Connect to VPN - Mac OS 10.2, 10.3
This guide
will assist you in connecting your Mac OS 10.2 or higher computer
to the Cal Poly Pomona VPN. These instructions will cover the
installation of the VPN client for Mac OS 10.2 or higher.
Create & Configure the VPN connection
- Double
click Hard Drive > Applications > Internet Connect icon.
- If a message window, appears, saying "You do not have an active modem, Airport, or PPPoE network port configuration", click the Use VPN button.
- Click on the Continue
button.
- Skip down to Step 5.

- Otherwise,
select File from the menu.
- Select New VPN Connection Window.
- Within
the Server address field, enter: vpn.csupomona.edu.
- Type your
Network Password information. To set your
Network Password, see eHelp FAQs.
- Do not place a check mark in the Add to Keychain box.

Logging
into the VPN
- Connect
to the Internet as you normally would.
- Once your
VPN Connection window has been created and configured, click
the Connect button
