SpamBayes is a free, open source application – there is no charge to install and use it – that serves as an anti-spam filter for your email client (i.e. Microsoft Outlook, Entourage, etc.). After you have installed SpamBayes on your computer, you can "train" it to properly identify and isolate messages that are suspected to be spam (junk) emails from genuine email messages. The more you "train" SpamBayes, the more effective it will become at filtering spam.
